1. Who controls the service
PDFixo.in is operated by Eyestech. Privacy questions can be sent to support@pdfixo.in.
2. Information we collect
When you sign in, we may receive your email and, when you use Google sign-in, your Google account identifier, display name and profile image through the configured authentication provider. We also keep usage counters, plan/entitlement status, purchase and subscription references, support messages, security logs and preference choices needed to operate the service.
3. Your PDF files
Core PDF editing, browser OCR and many lightweight tools are designed to process files locally in your browser. Some features require server software, including Office-to-PDF conversion and PDF password protection/unlock. Those tools explicitly upload a file for temporary processing and the application removes its temporary working files after the request completes or fails.
4. Payments
Payment checkout is handled by the configured payment provider. We store payment/order/subscription identifiers, amounts and verification status needed to grant access and reconcile purchases. We do not design the application to store full card details.
5. Advertising and analytics
Free accounts may see advertising. Optional Google Analytics and the internal traffic dashboard are disabled until you choose to allow analytics through our privacy preferences. Internal analytics uses a short-lived pseudonymous session hash rather than storing the raw IP address in the analytics table. Where Google advertising requires a certified consent-management platform, that consent flow must be configured in the advertising account before production ads are enabled.
6. Why we process data
We use information to authenticate accounts, enforce free limits, grant paid entitlements, provide support, prevent abuse, measure product performance, comply with legal obligations and improve the service.
7. Retention
Temporary document-processing files are not intended as permanent storage. Account, billing and security records may be retained as necessary for the service, accounting, fraud prevention and legal obligations. Production retention periods must be finalized in the deployment configuration.
8. Your choices and rights
You may contact us to request access, correction or deletion of applicable account information, subject to legal and billing-record obligations. You can change optional analytics preferences on the Cookie Settings page.
9. Security
We use access controls, server-side entitlement verification and restricted server secrets. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so production monitoring and incident procedures remain part of the deployment controls.
10. Children
The service is intended for users able to enter binding online transactions under applicable law. The final production age/parental-consent handling must be aligned with the jurisdictions in which the service launches.
11. Changes
We may update this policy as the product, law or providers change. Material updates should be posted with a revised date.
